When buying from China on Alibaba, you may come across suppliers who mention export tax rebates.

A tax rebate is a refund that an eligible Chinese exporter may receive from the Chinese government after goods are exported. Not every supplier qualifies.  However this process introduces more paperwork and complications for exporting your items.   For Some trading companies and factories  this is one of the ways that they use to earn extra on the items that they are selling to you.

What Does This Mean for You?

For China2Dadli customers, we recommend choosing suppliers who can sell and prepare your goods for export without requiring you to use their export tax rebate arrangement.

This usually makes the process simpler.

Some suppliers may require additional export documents or arrangements because they want to claim an export tax rebate. If your supplier requires these documents or services, there is a $100 USD fee for handling the required export tax rebate documentation.

We will first charge this $100 USD fee to the supplier when the supplier requires the documentation.

If the supplier refuses to pay the fee, the $100 USD charge will become the responsibility of the buyer and must be paid before we can proceed with the required documentation.

What Should You Ask Your Supplier?

Ask your supplier:

“Can you sell and prepare these goods for export without requiring an export tax rebate arrangement?”

If yes, this generally makes the process easier and can help you avoid the additional documentation fee.

If the supplier requires an export tax rebate arrangement, let us know before the goods are shipped to our warehouse so we can explain the process and applicable fee.
